Morningstar ProStar MPPT Wire Box
The Morningstar ProStar MPPT wire box is an optional accessory. It is only compatible with the ProStar MPPT solar charge controllers. The wire box allows you to connect larger gauge wire to the charge controller. The ProStar MPPT controllers can accept up to #6 AWG without the wire box and up to #2 AWG with the wire box. It also provides electrical knock-outs for connecting conduit to route your wires. Some of the available controller accessories will also mount inside of the box: Ethernet Communications Adapter (EMC-1), USB Communications Adapter (UMC-1), and the PC MeterBus Adapter (Model: MSC).
NOTE: The PS-MPPT is UL 1741 compliant when used with the optional wire box.
