Note: This item does NOT include the surge protector. The second picture is only meant to show you how it looks with the SPD mounted inside. The flush mounting kit for MidNite Solar SPDs comes with 18 inches of metallic flexible conduit and fittings. It will accept any of the MidNite SPDs. If your electrical panel does not have room or cannot accommodate one of the SPD’s, this flush mount cut in box is the solution. It allows you to mount the enclosure with one SPD inside a wall and still allows visibility and access to the device. The flexible conduit travels from the flush mount box to the electrical panel which allows the SPD to be connected to your electrical system just as if it was installed inside the panel.
