    The all-new KOHLER DC-Coupled Energy Storage System is a solar energy storage system that will keep your essential home appliances and devices running during a grid power failure. Users store the energy in the battery during the day and at night utilize the same power to run the AC, computer, TV, garage door, lights, and refrigerator. This power reserve system offers huge potential savings on energy bills and offers any degree of independence from the grid the homeowner seeks to achieve.

    This Kohler system is compliant with OpenADR which permits open, highly secure, two-way information exchange. It communicates signals from utilities to power-using devices to let them turn off during peak demand. The DC-connected power storage system connects to the grid mains at the same point as the solar panels. They share a hybrid inverter, which makes it a one-box solution, as you use one inverter instead of two.

    You can install the KOHLER DC-coupled Energy Storage System in the basement, garage or backyard. The corrosion-resistant steel enclosure of the cabinet makes it the perfect choice for seaside environments and extreme climates. With the Kohler 20kW System, you will never be left in the dark.
